A Message from the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants

The next meeting of the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants meeting will be on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting will be available on this Web site a week or so before the meeting.

The Board begins each of its quarterly meetings with “Call to the Public,” an opportunity for members of the public to speak to the Board for up to five minutes on a pertinent topic.  If you wish to participate, fill out a card in the lobby before the meeting.

The meetings are held in the large conference room at 9535 East Doubletree Ranch Road in Scottsdale.

HEALTH ALERT - The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has confirmed the state's first case of influenza this season in a Maricopa County infant.  The flu season in Arizona usually begins between October and December, with flu activity peaking in February.  The public is being reminded that is important to get flu shots and to practice good hygiene by washing hands.  State law requires laboratories to report positive influenza tests to ADHS on a regular basis.
